The veteran Aussie star Brett Lee who is also the ambassador of the ICC teamed up with UNICEF Australia to create an awareness of how sports is more than just playing and a source of entertainment.
Brett Lee along with UNICEF Australia’s young ambassadors Jahin and Zara raised awareness of how sports help in creating fine leaders, building mutual respect and honour and becoming a source of breaking down gender barriers.
The awareness campaign was held at the SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground, Australia) with the ongoing main ICC event the T20 World Cup.
The motive of the campaign was very clear and loudly said – When girls win, we all win.
