Chasing 103 for victory, Pakistan needed a big over to stay alive, and Samad delivered one of the most destructive cameos of the tournament. After a quiet start, he unleashed a barrage of sixes — clearing every part of the Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok. His monstrous hitting turned the game on its head, leaving the Proteas shell-shocked as Pakistan completed the chase with ease in just 3.5 overs.
