On Wednesday, during the third test match between England vs India held at Headingly, the Indians had shown a bad display of their batting performance after Virat Kohli opting to bat first.

It was a horror show put by the Indians, as England completely shattered Virat’s men by removing them for 78 runs. It was later seen that Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was been allegedly thrown a ball by the England fans while fielding at the boundary line. This was been revealed by wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant at the end of the first day of the third test match between India and England. Fans were very disappointed and angry with the gesture the England fans made towards the Indian pacer. Mohammed Siraj gave the crowd an insulting reply by showing the gesture of 1-0, making the crowd silent.

Luckily, there was a video clip that came out which saw an angry Kohli seen Siraj at the boundary line to throw the object out.

India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant said during the post day press conference that fans had thrown a ball towards Siraj. He said, “I think, somebody from the crowd threw a ball at Siraj, so Kohli was upset”. You can say whatever you want, chant whatever but don’t throw things at fielders.

On Day 1, nothing worked for India as they were blown by the England pacers by they were all out by just 78 runs. The decision to bat was backfired as Anderson removed KL Rahul and Pujara in quick succession, as he got the big wicket of Virat Kohli keeping the visitors under big pressure. Rohit and Rahane later formed a good partnership just before Rahane getting dismissed at the stroke of lunch as they were 4 down. India went from 54-4 to 78-10 as Sam Curran, Ollie Robinson and Craig Overton bowled amazingly.

England on the other hand got the best start to the day as both openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hammad completed their fifties as they up scoring 121-0 at the end of the first day putting India under big pressure.
