All-rounder Mitchell Marsh was the star for the Aussies as he finished off the innings taking Australia across the line. He remained not out scoring 39 runs off 36 balls. Ashton Agar helped Mitchell Marsh by holding his end at the crease as Marsh chased down the target for Australia.
Adil Rashid put in a great effort for England picking 3 crucial wickets of Aussie captain Aaron Finch, Steven Smith and Glenn Maxwell as well as conceded just 21 runs in his 4 overs.

Despite losing the series 2-1, Australia manage to retain their NO.1 spot at the ICC T20I Rankings. The two teams would begin their three match ODI series on Friday with all matches being played in Manchester.
