It was a game that kept swinging between the two sides throughout the 100 overs and proved to be a fantastic game of cricket.
Australian batsmen Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey stole the highlights of the show as they scored 108 runs off 90 balls and 106 runs off 114 balls respectively, putting up a partnership of 212 runs scoring 20 boundaries between themselves. Mitchell Starc was the batsman that ultimately took Australia across the line as he hit Adil Rashid for a six and a four in the last over as Australia needed 10 runs off the last 6 balls.

Australia win the ODI series 2-1 after England clinched the T20I series 2-1 as well. This thriller of a game also brought an end to a fantastic summer of cricket which saw West Indies, Ireland, Pakistan and Australia all pay a visit to England.
