Australia will be mighty pleased with the total they have managed to put up on the board as they finish at 294/9 after 50 overs.

A target of 295 is not considered difficult to chase in modern cricket, however after being 123/5 at one stage Australia will be really pleased with the score they have managed to finish with. The two experienced middle-order batsmen, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh were the reason the Aussies managed to cross 290, scoring 77 of 59 balls and 73 runs of 100 balls respectively. Maxwell smashed 4 huge sixes in his innings as well before the 126 run partnership was brought to an end as Jofra Archer picked up the wicket of Glenn Maxwell.

England will be really pleased with their death bowling as they conceded just 21 runs of the last three overs. Fast-bowling pair Mark Wood and Jofra Archer picked up 3 wickets each, spinner Adil Rashid finished wicket a couple of wickets to his name and Chris Woakes finished with a wicket in his last over.

England have an illustrious batting lineup and will be looking to chase this total down with ease but the seasoned bowling attack of the Aussies will definitely make it tough for them.
