Australia win the 1st ODI of the three match series against England by 19 runs.

England were 57/4 at one stage and it was really difficult to predict that they would have managed to take the game as close as they did in the end. Jonny Bairstow who struggled massively at the start of his innings ended up finding his feet in the middle before getting out on 84 runs off 107 balls. Sam Billings was the star for England as he went on to score his maiden ODI century and took England really close in the run chase before getting out on the very last ball of the match for 118 runs off 110 balls.

Josh Hazlewood had a very impressive outing as he conceded just 26 runs picking up 3 wickets and bowling 3 maiden overs in his 10 over spell. Leg-spinner Adam Zampa picked up 4 wickets conceding 55 runs in his 10 overs.

The two teams are set to play the 2nd ODI of the series at Manchester on Sunday.
