In a major set back the IPL had to shift the venues for the matches in the State of Maharashtra citing the recent Drought problems the State was facing, the PIL was filled in the Bombay High Court stating the Stadiums are using water supply to water the ground in state which has been hit hard due to lack of rain, The Bombay High Court ordered BCCI to shift the matches from Maharashtra in mind the state of drought it was facing, The saga stirred a lot of problems for IPL as the matches had to be rescheduled and shifted to other venues.

Harsha Bhogle Not a part of IPL

Surprisingly Harsha Bhogle the renowned commentator was omitted by the IPL stating that his contract was terminated as the fans missed his voice throughout the tournament, The exclusion of the famous Voice of commentator Bhogle did receive a lot of flack on the social media with some even stating it could be because of his unbiased stance in the ICC T20 all and all this news made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
