As the format of cricket goes through evolution every day, the latest edition is the T10 format. In the recent T10 league Chris Gayle became the fastest to score a T10 fifty. His 50 came off just 12 balls in Abu Dhabi.
He scored 84 in the match and notably 78 out of the total 84 came through boundaries. As he took his team, Team Abu Dhabi home, he smashed nine sixes and six fours against Maratha Arabians.
Maratha Arabians posted a total of 97 for four in 10 overs and Chris Gayle made it look like a hunky-dory chase. This is the fourth season of the tournament that has gained popularity in UAE. It is the only T10 tournament in the world that got approved by International Cricket Council.
