Shikhar Dhawan was granted a divorce against his wife, Aesha Mukerji, for mental cruelty. The alleged wife did not fight or defend herself, which made the court approve all the allegations made by Indian cricket. Dhawan was also granted permission to visit his son in India and Australia, along with the right to talk over video calls.

However, the court did not pass any order for the permanent custody of the son to Dhawan. The court has also ordered Aesha to visit India for visitation purposes, including a night’s stay with Dhawan and his family. She was also told that this time span has to be half of school vacation time during the academic year.

Shikhar Dhawan is currently not representing India but has been doing well in the Indian Premier League.
