There are several ways in which one can relieve stress and anxiety after a long season of playing sports. Some athletes like going out for a vacation or like to spend time with their family. But there’s one most common way of getting relaxed as well as feeling rewarded at the same time, it’s called shopping. Yes, Shopping is one of the most go-to options when you want to relax your mind. And that is what exactly Prithvi Shaw did when he returned home after a power-packed and enticing season. On the 16th of October, BMW India posted on their social handle about how Prithvi Shaw became a proud owner of a BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo.

Prithvi Shaw’s long season started when he visited Sri Lanka along with the reduced Indian side, in July. With several players making their debut in the series, Shaw was considered as one of the senior-most besides Dhawan and Buvneshwar Kumar, and he performed like one too. Alongside his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan, Shaw provided his team great starts with the bat. Although he couldn’t convert either of them into the fifties. His performance however was recognized immediately by the Team Management.
As a result, he was summoned to England to become part of the main Indian squad, which was taking on the English Team in the five-match Test Series. However, he did not get any chance in that series and the entire contingent of players travelled to UAE for the IPL’s second leg. There he played some crucial innings for his team Delhi Capitals. Although they could not manage to repeat their feats from the last year, they certainly looked menacing till the very end. Shaw ended the IPL with 479 runs against his name.
After such a hectic and tight schedule the Star deserves to lax a bit and can afford to pamper himself with a luxury gift. He will be seen in action soon, as the new season of SMAT begins in November.
