Cricket Australia (CA) has announced its upcoming domestic schedule, which includes several exciting fixtures and tournaments. Australia A will host New Zealand A for a series of four-day games, including a day and night pink ball fixture.
CA has also organized a tour game for the Pakistan team ahead of their first Test in Perth. The Sheffield Shield will run from October to March, with six rounds scheduled before Australia’s Test against Pakistan.
The 13th season of the Big Bash League (BBL) will begin on December 7, coinciding with Australia’s participation in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.
CA is also focused on expanding women’s cricket by hosting matches at prominent stadiums, and additional tour matches for both men’s and women’s teams are planned.
The Marsh One-Day Cup, a limited-overs competition, will consist of eight games, with Western Australia defending their titles in both the Sheffield Shield and Marsh Cup.
