COVID scare in the UAE national team ahead of the important series

The Emirates cricket board has confirmed that two of their players have been tested positive ahead of their series against Ireland.

Chirag Suri who is vice captain of the team and Arya Lakra are two players who were tested positive.

UAE is supposed to play Ireland in a four match series which was set to begin on January 8. Ireland has been practicing in UAE for sometime now as they arrived early. The Emirates cricket board released an official statement naming the two players and made sure that their is transperency between them and they visitors. They also added that the players have been isolated and the area has been fully sanitized as soon as the reports came. The players have doing well and the board has kept them under observation.

The series is on as it was decided and the first ODI is underway.
