BCCI recently shared a video in which Jasprit Bumrah is seen imitating the bowling action of Indian legend bowler Anil Kumble. He is seen bowling in nets and trying to copy the bowling action of Kumble and also seen celebrating in his way.

Anil Kumble, the Indian former pacer has a different bowling action than most of the bowlers of that time while Bumrah is also known for his uncanny action and toe-breaking yorkers. 27-years old Bumrah is now the key bowler of the Indian Cricket Team and will be playing against England in the upcoming home series.

Kumble replied in the video shared by the BCCI, called Bumrah’s action ‘pretty close’, and also wished him very best for the upcoming series against England.

“Well done Boom. Pretty close. You are an inspiration to the next generation of fast bowlers who are imitating your style. Best wishes for the upcoming series.” Kumble replied in Twitter.

Kumble is one of the most successful Indian bowlers who picked up 619 and 337 wickets in his Test and ODI careers respectively. He is the highest wicket-taker of India in both formats, even though he retired years ago. Kumble even bowled with a broken jaw against West Indies and shown the act of bravery.
