Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced the receipt of new defence and technology orders valued at Rs 732 crore, adding to its strong order momentum in FY26. These contracts have been secured since the company’s last disclosure on October 22, 2025.
In an exchange filing, the Navratna Defence PSU confirmed that the fresh orders include Software Defined Radios (SDRs), tank sub-systems, communication equipment, missile components, financial management software, cybersecurity solutions, upgrades, spares, and associated services.
A key highlight of this order book is the indigenous Software Defined Radios, jointly designed and developed with DRDO and manufactured by BEL. These radios are designed to be interoperable with existing legacy systems and enable secure, real-time battlefield communication — strengthening India’s defence communication backbone.
BEL stated that these cutting-edge SDR systems will enhance the armed forces’ readiness in today’s network-centric environment, supporting India’s push for technological self-reliance under the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India programmes.
This development further reinforces BEL’s role as a strategic defence electronics provider, continuing its strong order inflow trend across electronics warfare, communication, and advanced defence manufacturing.
