With the pandemic taking over the world in 2020, sports came to a major halt. While the later year saw events resuming there was still a lot of them which did not even take place. The Indian cricket team had many tours planned which were eventually cancelled. With the IPL resuming cricket for the national team, the team is now in Australia for a 3-month long tour.

As per information, the men in blue will play 12 months of continuous cricket in 2021 to make up for the lost time. They will either be busy in international cricket or IPL. Indian cricket team will play 14 Test Matches, 16 ODI’s & 23 T20 internationals from January to December in 2021. This is beside Asia Cup T20 (June), ICC World Cup (October) and IPL 2021.
