“BCCI is ready and all set to welcome two new teams in the next IPL”

According to a report by Cricbuzz, the BCCI is set to welcome 2 new IPL teams in 2021. There is an AGM meeting scheduled on December 24 to discuss about the plan. An approval will be taken from all state associations on the inclusion of new IPL teams.

There were rumours last month of the Adani Group and the Sanjiv Goenka group reportedly interested in buying new IPL teams. Reports said that the team would be from either Ahmedabad (Adani), Kanpur, Lucknow or Pune.
