The Indian cricket team after winning the Test series against Bangladesh will now be playing against Sri Lanka. There will be a three-match T20I and ODI between India and Sri Lanka at the start of the next year. The Indian team has gone with Hardik Pandya as their captain in T20Is and Rohit Sharma will lead the ODI side against Lankans.
Sri Lanka’s T20I team is amazing and it will be difficult for the Indian team to defeat them. However, some names were missing from the Indian squad. Indian wicket-keeper batters Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik were missing from the squad.
Rishabh Pant was expected to be selected for India for the T20I series. Sanju Samson has been however named in the Indian T20I squad.
