The Indian cricket team defeated Bangladesh in the first Test match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Sunday, December 18th. The fifth and final day of the Test match. The Indian bowlers finished the match in just 50 minutes on the final day.
India needed four wickets to win at the start of the day, while Bangladesh needed 241 runs. Shakib Al Hasan, the captain, tried hard to counter-attack the Indian bowlers but was eventually dismissed by spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Shakib scored 84 runs in the second innings, making him Bangladesh’s second highest scorer.
Taskin Ahmed, a prominent fast bowler for Bangladesh, posted the image to his social media accounts along with the caption, “eagerly awaiting the second test.” Taskin can be seen in this Instagram post travelling with India’s legendary batsman Virat Kohli.
