Bangladesh captain Litton Das has achieved a historic milestone during the 1st T20I against West Indies in Chattogram, surpassing Shakib Al Hasan to become the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in T20 internationals.

Litton now has 2,557 runs in 115 matches at a strike rate of 126, overtaking Shakib’s tally of 2,551 runs in 129 games. The record underlines Litton’s consistency and longevity in Bangladesh’s T20 setup since his debut.

Following Litton and Shakib, Mahmudullah holds the third spot with 2,444 runs, followed by Tamim Iqbal (1,701) and Mushfiqur Rahim (1,500).
