The Indian pace bowler Mohammad Shami isn’t available for the Test series against Bangladesh which is to be played from 14th December due to injury. Initially, the pacer was named in the Indian squad by BCCI for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh but got ruled out later.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has called up another Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat in place of Mohammad Shami for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. The pacer hasn’t featured for team India before and it will be his debut Test series for India.
Jaydev Unadkat’s bowling is always talked about in IPL and now he has got a chance to flourish for the country. India has already lost the three-game ODI series against Bangladesh and thus will be looking to win the Test series.
The first Test between India and Bangladesh will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium starting on 14th December. Jaydev Unadkat could be seen playing for team India in this Test series as his recent first-class record is amazing.
