The long list of unavailable/injured players include Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Rohit Sharma too unavailable for the first two tests and the latest addition in the list Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari who have been ruled out of the series. Rishabh Pant too was doubtful to participate in the second innings of the third test but his reports were safe and was good to go.
