Aus vs Ind: BCCI shared Rahane’s dressing room speech after historic win at Gabba

After creating history at Gabba and retaining the Border-Gavaskar trophy, Indian stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane and coach Ravi Shashtri gave a speech to the team in the dressing room. Australia lost a test match in Brisbane after 32 long years that too against Indian inexperienced and unbalanced team.

India lost their first match at Adelaide after which Virat Kohli came back to India because of his paternity leave and Rahane led the side and helped the team to cease the series. The young bowling unit did a fabulous job and created history by winning the series by 2-1.

Ajinkya Rahane, in his speech, mentioned the defeat in Adelaide and the courage that was shown by the players after that match. He gave credit to every single player of the team as they did their best and lead India to victory den.

Rahane helped India to make a comeback in Melbourne by scoring a fabulous ton and leading the team from the front. “What happened in Adelaide and how we came back from Melbourne onwards, was really good to see. Not 1 or 2 but every single-payer gave his effort and in all the rest 3 matches, That was great,” Rahane said.
