Following India’s convincing win over Australia in the 3rd ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), rumors started swirling about whether Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma had played their last One-Day International series.
The speculation came after both superstars hinted during their post-match interview that this might be their “last time playing in Australia.” However, despite the emotional undertone, neither Kohli nor Rohit announced their ODI retirement. As of now, ODIs remain the only international format both Kohli and Rohit continue to represent India in.
