Indian team is all set to play against Australia in the ICC World Test Championship (2021-23) starting from today (June 7) at the Oval. The game is between the two top teams in Test cricket and the No.1 and No.2 are battling out for that ICC trophy. Indian team has won the toss and Rohit Sharma, the captain has decided to bowl first in this one-off Test match.
Rohit Sharma has also mentioned his pacers and spinners playing in this game and it was a huge decision that World’s no.1 Test bowler Ravichandran Ashwin is not playing in this match. Ashwin has been dropped by the team and Jadeja is in the playing XI for this biggest match against Australia.
Rohit Sharma has said that it was a tough decision to drop Ravi Ashwin out of the game but they went with Jadeja as the conditions are more likely to suit him and an extra batter in the team is always good to have for any side.
