Sri Lanka face the embarrassing season opener start as they were bowled out in 105 runs during the last over. As Afghanistan has a commanding start in the competition, the bowling squad, led by captain Nabi, has been successful in securing the milestone wickets.
After Sri Lanka’s power play innings crumbled and Afghanistan continued to profit from the early wickets, the team suffered two humiliating runouts in quick succession.
Finally, Sri Lanka was dismissed for 105 runs, setting Afghanistan a 106-run goal.
