India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to field first against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The decision comes with a major team change as Hardik Pandya has been ruled out, forcing India to bring in Shivam Dube and Rinku Singh to strengthen the middle order.
At the toss, Suryakumar said India preferred chasing under lights, highlighting the recent form and adaptability of his side. Pakistan skipper Salman Agha, meanwhile, expressed confidence in batting first, stating his team is yet to play a perfect game and will look to deliver one in the final.
