Apollo Tyres has officially bagged the coveted Team India jersey sponsorship rights and will remain on the front of the national cricket team’s jersey until 2027.
The tyre manufacturer will pay ₹4.5 crore per match, a rate higher than what the previous sponsor Dream11 offered before its deal was cut short. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had been without a jersey sponsor during the Asia Cup after the real-money gaming company exited, following the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill.
The new long-term contract ensures that India’s cricket team will carry Apollo Tyres branding across formats for the next three years. For Apollo, the deal strengthens its brand presence on one of the most-watched sporting platforms globally, while giving BCCI a stable sponsorship arrangement that aligns with regulatory norms.
