Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently in Raipur to represent India Legends in the Road Safety World Series, played a prank on the medical staff while taking the routine covid-19 test.
In an Instagram video posted by Sachin, the legendary batsman can be heard ‘screaming in pain’ after the medical staff takes his nasal swab sample.
The medical staff was taken aback after which Tendulkar smiles and everyone bursts into laughter. “Tension aapko hai ya mujhe hai?” a smiling Sachin Tendulkar asks the staff.
Tendulkar captioned the video which read, “I’ve played 200 Tests and 277 COVID Tests! A little prank to lighten the mood. Kudos to our medical staff here for helping us to play for a cause!”
Sachin Tendulkar starred in India Legends match against Bangladesh Legends on March 5. The right-handed batsman scored unbeaten 33 off 26 balls and helped his team chase the 110 run target in just 10.1 overs. His batting partner Virender Sehwag was 80 not out as India Legends won by 10 wickets.
Sachin Tendulkar can be seen in action again on Tuesday against England Legends.
