PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) coach Mauricio Pochettino has tested positive for the covid-19 and is going to miss the French league game at Angers on Saturday as he went for self isolation.
PSG said on Friday that Jesus Perez and Miguel D’Agostino, Pochettino’s assistants will take charge against Angers.
D’Agostino was sat next to Pochettino during a news conference which happened on Friday, as his translator from Spanish to French.
After Thomas Tuchel got fired, Pochettino took over this month and he won first silverware of his career on Wednesday when PSG beat Marseille in the Champions Trophy.
After testing positive for COVID-19, PSG has players missing on that game.
PSG’s players hugged each other in a big group as they celebrated their victory, Pochettino was not wearing his mask when he was hugged by Neymar nor when joining the players at the celebrations.
