The Indian duo Divya Thadigol Subbaraju and Sarabjot Singh bagged a silver in the 10 meter air pistol mixed team event in Hangzhou, China, on Saturday. The duo was competing against China’s Zhang Bowen and Jiang Ranxin, which they lost by a difference of just two points (India 14–16 China).
The Indian duo took a 4-0 lead in the very beginning of the game; however, China made a fiery comeback, bringing the scores to level in the seventh series. With the game going neck-to-neck, China claimed their win in the final round (14th series) and let India settle for silver at the 2023 Asian Games.
