Aishwary Pratap brought India another medal by claiming a silver in the men’s 50m rifle 3P individual event, while Swapnil Kusale finished fourth in Hangzhou, China. Unfortunately, Swapnil was at the top of the leaderboard in the finals but got backlashed after a single-minute mistake, which made him drop directly to the fifth position.
On the contrary, Aishwary had a dreadful start in the kneeling position but made an astonishing comeback later on in the game. He managed to pull himself up and end up second as the game concluded. The 22-year-old registered his fourth medal at the 2023 Asian Games.
Earlier, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, along with his teammates Swapnil Kusale and Akhil Sheoran, bagged gold in the team event for India, breaking the world record and creating history at the Asian Games.
