The Arjuna Awardee Anirban Lahiri in golf lest a few birdie chances but he managed to finish bogey-free with a card of 3 under 67 that helped him to jump up 13 places to Tied 28th at the end of Round 3 in the Wyndham Championship which is happening in Sedgefield Country Club. Lahiri started the day with 4-under and was just over 17 feet and the only gain he had was a chip-in from 15 feet on seventh. He parred his last holes 11 holes.
Lahiri game was quite strong as he successfully managed to hit 14 out of 18 greens in regulation. He is already qualified for the FedEx cup for which Top 125 make the grade. Russel Henley is just one round away from his first PGA Tour in the last 4 years. He managed to finish at 15 under 195 as he keeps his high head to win this PGA Tour since the 2017 Houston Open.
Justin Rose the former Champion of FedEx Cup is 126th in the projections when he shot 69 after a bogey on the final hole. India’s other contestant Shubhankar Sharma was also playing great as he went 6 under through 17 holes and headed for a top-5 when he got a double bogey in the very last hole of the third round at Cazoo Classic.
The other Indian contestants Gaganjeet Bhullar, SSP Chawrasia, Shiv Kapur and Ajeetesh Sandhu missed out the cut.
