
Bharti Airtel, on June 26 said that Ajay Chitkara, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airtel Business, has tendered resignation from the post. He will helm the company until the third week of August 2023.
Headquartered in India, Airtel is a global communications solutions provider with over 500 Mn customers in 17 countries across South Asia and Africa.
The enterprise mobile and data services provider will operate as separated channel segments with new leaders.
Bharti Airtel, in a stock exchange filing said, “Ajay Chitkara, CEO Airtel Business, has decided to move on from Airtel. He will continue with the company until the third week of August 2023.” It was further added that the telcom will operate as three business and channel segments – global business led by Vani Venkatesh, domestic business led by Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, and Nxtra Data Centers led by Ashish Arora.
