Bharti Airtel has announced the completion of its additional spectrum deployment across all 50 districts in Rajasthan, aimed at improving voice and data connectivity. The telecom giant has integrated an extra 5MHz on the 1800 band and 4MHz on the 900 band, which is expected to boost its 5G and 4G network capacities.
Key points:
1. The deployment will enhance data speeds and improve coverage inside buildings in both urban and rural areas.
2. Cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and others will experience improved service quality for voice and data.
3. The expansion also aims to provide wider coverage along highways and rail routes.
4. Airtel secured 97 MHz of spectrum in the recent auction, expanding its sub-GHz spectrum and consolidating fragmented blocks.
Marut Dilawari, CEO of Airtel Rajasthan, stated that the company remains committed to investing in technologies that will elevate the service experience for customers in the state.
This network enhancement comes as part of Airtel’s broader strategy to meet the growing demand for high-speed data services with its 5G and 4G networks across India.
