Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) on Thursday announced that it has emerged as the highest bidder for a prime 7.825-acre land parcel in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, with a bid value of ₹547.75 crore. The acquisition was made through an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB) for residential group housing, and the allotment letter will be issued after the due process is completed.

The company highlighted that the project has an estimated revenue potential of around ₹3,800 crore, based on current business assumptions. Located in close proximity to HITEC City, Hyderabad’s largest IT and employment hub, the Kukatpally site is expected to host premium residential apartments across varied configurations.

This development marks another significant addition to Godrej Properties’ Hyderabad portfolio. The company has recently launched projects such as Godrej Madison Avenue at Kokapet and Godrej Regal Pavilion at Rajendranagar, both of which have received strong responses. With this latest project, the company aims to further strengthen its footprint in one of India’s fastest-growing real estate markets.

Commenting on the development, Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said, “As Hyderabad continues to strengthen its position as a dynamic real estate market, Kukatpally represents a strategic location that aligns with the city’s growth trajectory. Building on the strong response to our recent launch, Godrej Madison Avenue at Kokapet, our presence here allows us to bring national-scale expertise while designing future-ready developments that create long-term value for our residents.”

Kukatpally has emerged as one of Hyderabad’s most established and resilient residential corridors, supported by reputed schools, healthcare institutions, and commercial hubs. Its seamless connectivity to HITEC City further boosts its attractiveness for premium housing projects.

With this acquisition, Godrej Properties has reinforced its position as one of India’s leading developers, combining its strong track record with Hyderabad’s growing demand for quality residential projects.
