Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, along with his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, has purchased an apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for ₹5 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by real estate marketplace Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra. The transaction was registered in August 2025.
The apartment, located in The Smoky Hill CHS Ltd., has a built-up area of about 1,165 sq. ft. (108.25 sq. m.) and a carpet area of 970.71 sq. ft. (90 sq. m.). The purchase also includes a garage space. The deal incurred a stamp duty of ₹30 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000.
Bandra West remains one of Mumbai’s most premium real estate destinations, housing upscale apartments, heritage bungalows, and boutique commercial projects. Its appeal is bolstered by connectivity to the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station, upcoming Metro lines, and proximity to business hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Mumbai International Airport.
Anil Kapoor, who has been one of Bollywood’s most enduring stars for over four decades, is known for films like Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Tezaab, and international projects such as Slumdog Millionaire and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. He was last seen in YRF’s Spy Universe film War 2.
His son, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, made his acting debut in Mirzya (2016) and has since appeared in films such as Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018) and Thar (2022).
