US inoculates 50 million people from COVID-19 Vaccines by Pfizers and BioNtech. USA will purchase COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and BioNtech, if they successfully develops the vaccine. According to the deal USA will pay after the successful development of the vaccines. It will innoculate its 50 million people. The government will not charge from its citizens for vaccines.
Under the deal the government will procure additional 500 million doses.
Pfizer will start its late stage trial by the end of this week. The early stage trials have been successful, the subjects have produced required antibodies to fight virus. The subjects were given two doses.
Under the Operation Warp Speed Program, USA will procure and develop vaccines.
Pfizer has claimed that it will provide vaccines by October if it gets USA approval, by completing phase 3 trial, testing 30,000 subjects.
Pfizer will manufacture 100 million vaccines by end of 2020 and 1.3 billion doses by end of 2021.
