PM Modi to review COVID-19 situations with Northeast India on July 13 at 11 am IST

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will review the Covid-19 situation with chief ministers of Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on Tuesday.

Earlier in a day, the prime minister has decided to interact with chief ministers of Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram through video conferencing.

The conference will be tackling over the positivity rate and with  the  current situation in Manipur, Assam and multiple districts in other Northeastern states are still at grim.

Even last week the Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla had also reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the Northeast.

The home secretary has also  emphasized that everyone should  follow five-fold strategy of Test-Track-Treat-Vaccinate with right and appropriate behaviour.

The Central government will also deputed multi-disciplinary teams into six states, including Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Manipur, in view with the increased number of Covid-19 cases in these states.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will review the situation rising with COVID-19 with the chief ministers of all Northeastern states at 11 am on Tuesday.
