PS Dhami: Can’t do Live Streaming of rituals, such practices not in Vedas

Everything is changing its form but festivals are not becoming virtual. Corona has affected almost all major religions and their mass gatherings.

God has created this world can be assumed as the fundamental point, and communities have created turmoil out of his existence and superiority is another point.

To stop further waves and prevent the state from going into a strict lockdown, courts are declaring the new normal formats of festivals. When something is banned from Muslim Community the suddenly, outrage begins on Jagganath Rathyatra, Char Dham. This is the subject of eternal turmoil for Indians.

Char Dham Yatra has been canceled due to COVID-19. Uttarakhand is equivalent to a pilgrimage destination. Uttarakhand is famous for having four pillars of heavenly beauty which are, Badrinath, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Gangotri.

The State Cabinet decided to somewhat open the Char Dham for regional devotees in restricted numbers from 1 July. Those who were going to get the chance of experiencing Darshan were citizens of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Rudraprayag. These three districts got information about confinements from Uniyal.

On 28 June, Uttarakhand Government moved to the Supreme Court to challenge the decision of the High Court and to reverse the decision of allowing devotees in the temple in a restricted manner from 1 July.

After this incident, High Court extended the stay on Yatra till July 28.  The main reason behind keeping it on stay or banning it is poor preparations for tackling 3rd wave. The Court had approved the usage of live streaming to watch the entire festival online, but, these activities also got rejected just because Vedas don’t have any mentions of live streaming, as per Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

For the last two years, most religions are missing the atmosphere of festivity. Easter, Ramnavmi, Vaisakhi, Ramadan, weren’t able to attain digitalization.
