Apollo Hospitals has inaugurated a new 400-bed quaternary care hospital in Swargate, beginning operations with 250 beds in its initial phase. The launch marks a strategic milestone in Apollo’s expansion under India’s “Heal in India – Heal by India” vision.

Chairman Dr. Prathap C Reddy emphasised the group’s mission to create globally competitive healthcare ecosystems rooted in Indian expertise. Executive Vice Chairperson Dr. Preetha Reddy described the facility as a continuation of Apollo’s decades-long legacy of clinical leadership, while Managing Director Dr. Suneeta Reddy said the Pune hospital strengthens Apollo’s national footprint in a high-growth market.

Group CEO Dr. Madhu Sasidhar highlighted the hospital’s foundation on safety science, consistent quality and transparent outcomes. Pune CEO Dr. Manisha Karmarkar said the new centre reflects Apollo’s deep engagement with Pune’s innovation-driven growth.

The hospital is equipped with advanced robotic systems, modular OTs, integrated ICUs, precision oncology units, PET-CT, LINAC, transplant programs, cardiovascular sciences, orthopaedics and specialised mother-and-child care. IoT-backed monitoring and telehealth platforms establish a seamless, digitally unified care experience.
