NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, announced the successful commissioning and commercial operation of 55 MW capacity out of the 105 MW Shajapur Solar Project (Unit-I) in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh.
The project, managed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, another wholly-owned subsidiary, will officially commence commercial operations from 12:00 AM on November 29, 2024. This milestone underscores NTPC Green Energy’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and supporting India’s transition to sustainable energy sources.
The Shajapur Solar Project is expected to contribute significantly to NTPC’s green energy capacity, reinforcing its leadership in the renewable energy sector.
