IndianOil, one of India’s leading energy companies, has partnered with EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt. Ltd. to establish a joint venture focused on sustainable energy solutions. The two companies will hold equal stakes in the joint venture, which aims to advance biofuel adoption across India.
The collaboration will prioritize the development of Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants that convert organic waste into renewable energy. This initiative is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create local employment opportunities, contributing to India’s green energy transition and its goal to achieve Net Zero by 2070.
The agreement was signed in the presence of senior officials from both companies, including Dr. Santanu Gupta from IndianOil and Mr. Mahesh Girdhar, MD & CEO of EverEnviro.
This joint venture is part of IndianOil’s long-term strategy to focus on low-carbon development and enhance energy security for the nation.
