On the first day of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE) Main 2020, several media reports and tweets alleging that exams were not conducted in Krishna Nagar and Janakipuram Extension centres in Uttar Pradesh are proved to be fake news according to a tweet by the National Testing Agency which conducts the exam.
The NTA clarified through its official twitter account that no exams were held in these centres today and have been conducted as planned in the other centres of Lucknow.

There were reports about students being sent back from these centres which the NTA says is false information.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, JEE is being held from September 1 to 6 by strictly following health protocols, precautions and social distancing measures. Transportation facilities have also been arranged for candidates by different states.
