President Ram Nath Kovind will be inaugurating Visitor’s Conference on ‘Implementation of National Education Policy 2020: Higher Education’ on Saturday at 10 am. Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal & Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre will also be attending the event.
The union minister tweeted the same stating that a visit was made to the President Ram Nath Kovind thanking him for his guidance in the Governor’s Conference’ and National Teacher Award 2020. The event will be live-streamed on Pokhriyal’s Facebook and Twitter handles.

The vice Chancellors from Central Universities, directors of Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, National Institute of Technology, Indian Institutes of Management from across the country are expected to participate in the programmes.
The government recently conducted the Governor’s Conference on the National Education Policy. The conference was attended by the education ministers from the states along with the state and central university Vice-chancellors and other senior officials.
Prime Minister Modi, who inaugurated the conference stated that the NEP is not just incorporated to change the education system but also gives new friction to the social and economic aspects of the country.
