
The expanded campus of the Indian Institute of Management – IIM will be inaugurated tomorrow morning in Nagpur by India’s President, Ram Nath Kovind. The event will be attended by Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Dharmendra Pradhan.
IIM Nagpur is located on 132 acres of land in the MIHAN area of Wardha Road in Nagpur city. It was dedicated in August of 2015. The first phase of construction is complete, and the entire IIM campus is located in the same area as AIIMS Hospital.
IIM Nagpur currently educates 668 students in management through its on-campus Post Graduate Programs and various online certificate programmes. Hence, the campus includes 20 high-tech classrooms, 24 training centres, and a convention centre with 400 seats.
Nagpur is a zero-mile city that is at the epicentre of business and management programmes. Taking advantage of this, IIM Nagpur has formed alliances with world-class universities. In the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Japan, Denmark, and France. This institution has also transformed the system of distance education. Moreover, through its part-time MBA programme for working professionals, the institute has done outstanding work in providing education online training to working professionals. IIM Nagpur has a satellite campus in Pune as well.
