The registration process for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT)  exam will begin on August 4. The last date to apply for the exam is September 15, and the exam is scheduled for November 28.

The registration fee for the test is  Rs 2,200 for the general category and Rs 1,100 for reserve category candidates.

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any University. For SC, ST, and PWD students, the minimum required mark is 45 percent. Candidates who are appearing for their final semester exam and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

CAT 2021: Steps to apply 

  1. Visit the website iimcat.ac.in, click on ‘Register’ under ‘New Candidate Registration’.
  2. Enter the personal details and submit. A user ID and password will be generated.
  3. Enter the login details and fill the application form
  4. Upload the documents, make the payment and submit the application form
  5. Download the confirmation page and keep a copy

CAT Exam is held for admission to postgraduate and management courses at IIMs and other B-schools in the country.
