The Bihar Education Department has concluded the selection process for the third phase of teacher recruitment, with a total of 86,474 vacancies being identified. These vacancies are distributed across various educational levels, including classes 1 to 5, classes 6 to 8, classes 9 to 10, and classes 11 and 12.

The General Administration Department will forward these job openings to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The commission has scheduled the third phase of the Teacher Reinstatement Exam (TRE 3) to take place from March 7 to March 17. Candidates interested in applying for these positions can find detailed information on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.

For the upcoming examination, BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad announced that candidates will not have the option to choose their department. The TRE 3 examination will cover both the Education Department and the SC-ST Welfare sectors. Moreover, there will be no supplementary results provided for TRE 3; instead, the vacant seats will be allocated to TRE 4, which is planned for August.

Candidates are advised to check their results before the application deadline, as the domicile policy will not apply to these vacancies. Atul Prasad emphasized the potential high difficulty level of the TRE 3 question paper and mentioned that the commission plans to announce the results between March 22 and 24. Additionally, TRE 4 examination is expected to offer approximately 1 lakh vacancies.

Previously, the BPSC TRE phase 2 examination aimed to fill approximately 1.22 lakh vacancies for Primary Teacher (PRT), Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions. This annual recruitment process conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission is vital for filling vacancies in state government schools across all education levels.
