8 women historically reach Top 10 list of UP Public Service Exams conducted by UPPSC

8 women made up the top 10 list in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (UPPSC) state civil services exam, which had its results announced on Friday.

Eight women have now made up the top 10 list of the State’s civil services exam, which was conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and whose results were released on Friday. This was a first and historic record in the State’s history.

In addition to that, women also took the top three spots.

Divya Sikarwar of Agra achieved the first position, followed by Pratiksha Pandey of Lucknow and Namrata Singh of Bulandshahr, who finished second and third, respectively.

Akansha Gupta, Kumar Gaurav, Saltanat Praween, Mohsina Bano, Prajakta Tripathi, Aishwarya Dubey, and Sandeep Kumar Tiwari were the people that came after in this list.

From a total of 364 selections, 110 women have been chosen.

The entire exam process was completed in a record-breaking 10 months for the first time.

The main test, according to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, was held in centres located in the districts of Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Ghaziabad from September 27 to October 1, 2022.

5311 candidates in total have registered for the main exam. 1070 of the total applicants passed the main exam and are eligible for participation in the initial interview.

Interviews were held for the selected applicants from February 20 to March 21, 2023.

The record success of the daughters of the state in this examination and the representation of almost every district is a new picture of ‘new Uttar Pradesh’,” UP CM tweeted.
