The Indian Navy’s destroyer INS Visakhapatnam conducted a series of test firings of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile as the President’s Fleet Review 2022 is slated to begin on February 21. The practice was performed off the western shore, after which the vessel returned to land and is now parked at the port of Visakhapatnam. Netizens applauded the photos of the battleship provided by officials to commemorate the Indian Navy’s 75-year service to the country.
The Indian Navy’s official Twitter account posted, “Firing Day. Indian Navy – 75 Years in Service of the Nation President’s Fleet Review 21 February 22, ” while labelling the tweet ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.’

Indian Navy President’s Fleet Review 2022
The PFR will be held on February 21 with the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind, the supreme commander of the armed forces, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, senior bureaucrats, and high-ranking officials from various countries. Understandably, the city will be surrounded by increased security between February 20 and March 5, since the Indian Navy’s ‘Milan-2022’ exercise would take place during that time.
